This ILIAS test installation is provided to enable joint evaluation, demonstration, and coordination with interested customers in the context of workshops, tests, and presentations.
Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary for the provision, secure operation, and use of this test installation.
3. Categories of Processed Data
In connection with the use of this ILIAS test installation, the following categories of personal data may in particular be processed:
- account data, in particular name, username, and e-mail address, insofar as these are used to create a user account,
- login data and information relating to authentication,
- technical usage data, in particular the time of access and login,
- content and entries that users themselves create, upload, or edit within the test installation.
There is no obligation to provide personal data beyond what is required for account creation and use of the platform.
4. Server Log Data
When accessing this ILIAS test installation, certain data may be processed automatically for technical reasons, insofar as this is necessary for the operation, stability, and security of the system. This may in particular include the date and time of access, accessed pages, information about the browser used, and other technically required connection data.
5. Cookies and Session Management

7. Legal Basis for Processing
To the extent that the processing of personal data is necessary for providing and carrying out the test use, it is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, respectively within the context of pre-contractual communication and joint evaluation and workshop scenarios.
To the extent that processing is necessary for the secure technical operation, stability, and protection of the test installation, it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and functional provision of the test installation.
8. Recipients of the Data
Personal data is not disclosed to external service providers or other third parties unless required by law in an individual case.
9. Storage Period and Deletion
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the provision and execution of the test use.
User accounts, related content, and other data processed in connection with the test use may in particular be deleted after the relevant workshop, test, or demonstration purpose has ended, after a longer period of inactivity, or when the test installation is reset.
Any statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
10. Your Rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have in particular the following rights:
- the right of access to the personal data concerning you,
- the right to rectification of inaccurate data,
- the right to erasure,
- the right to restriction of processing,
- the right to object to processing insofar as it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR,
- the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
